What is this Approx, time left in minutes when I scroll your website? This indicates approximately how long it’s going to take you to read the current page.

This is just a guesstimate based on text displayed on the screen and an average read rate of WPM (words per minute) for the English language. We understand other languages have different reading rates but this specific metric is only for the English language.

You will notice with toggles and tabs the time changes based on text being displayed or not (toggle open or closed). This is because it measures visible text on the screen only.

We implement this to help keep your time organized. Knowing approx how long it will take you to read an article is a great tool for time management.

More technical? We used the average person reads (200 WPM)- (300 WPM) for the reading words per minute and came up with an average of 250 words per minute.

If you are a speed reader then you may want to cut this time in half.
